I love the summer because it reminds me of my home-country where it’s always sunny and warm and every Sunday was suitable to visit the pool with friends. It also reminds me of the time I had a consistent tan through-out the year (because I visited our beautiful beaches even in December). My tan doesn’t exist in Houston, unless I decide to self-tan at home. Getting a full day of sun at the pool is in my very distant future if the weatherman keeps telling me that the next ten days are filled with sunny days ‘sprinkled’ with floods and thunderstorms.
Nonetheless, we are officially in the summer season and I’m daydreaming about the perfect bathing suit that I’ll be wearing to an upcoming pool party that will flatter my *pear shaped-body (*wide hips, small torso). And let’s face it, I’m so sick of always going through the aisles of department stores and finding only one-piece swimsuits in my size so I went online and scoured the sexiest suits for curvier, fuller bodies. I mean, I love dressing up for all my other events, this should be fun too right?

I was disappointed not to find any options at ASOS, which always manages to have amazing inventory but I think these are pretty exciting choices.
I found fun, colorful prints, supportive swim tops, strategical draping, and tummy coverage that will make any curvier girl feel confident and look fashionable. All of a sudden, I’m looking forward to bathing suit shopping!
