I was recently on a 10 hour flight from Houston, Texas to Madrid, Spain which is both terrifying and gives me anxiety (I can’t stand being in one place for such a long time!). So, to calm my nerves and make it a productive flight I make this the longest 10-hour beauty routine and apply treatments to my face, nails, and skin to arrive glowing and refreshed to my destination.
1. I like to keep my feet warm with Kooshyfoot socks. They keep my feet warm & fashionable on the plane and they’re also awesome for when I have to take my shoes off at security check.
2. Treat those nasty blemishes with Nexcare Acne Patches which are transparent (and are like stickers) so you can treat a pimple on your flight and no one will know.
3. Inspiring Reading Material like SELF magazine and “Leave Your Mark” keep me focused & driven.
4. Noise Cancelling Headphones are necessary so I can block out all the noise and wake up refreshed at my destination.
5. Rose Salve Balm is the ultimate multi-tasker for dry elbows, lips and skin. Airplanes always make my skin dry!
6. Business Cards are a must because you never know who might be on a flight!
7. Hair oils are great for moisturizing my tips and nourishing split ends. I like to spritz some dry-shampoo and refresh my locks before leaving the plane too.
8. Estee Lauder Advanced Skin Serum is packed with hyaluronic acid which will retain water in your skin through-out the flight.
9. Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist Controls the over-production of oil on my face with a spray and it also keeps my skin hydrated.
10. Mouthwash and Floss Fresh breath and flossing is one of my essential beauty routines to keep my chompers white and healthy.
11. My IPhone 6 I do everything from here: emails, photo editing and social media. Crossing my fingers there’s Wi-Fi on the plane.
12. Essie Cuticle Oil is the perfect way to keep my nails looking pretty and soft and it also maximizes my manicure.
