I probably shouldn’t have a sweet tooth because I’m Diabetic but I do love to indulge once in a while. I love Petite Sweets because they have small-sized treats that won’t raise my blood sugar like at other bakeries where you can only get a huge slice of cake or a gigantic cookie to share with four people! Sometimes I just want a tiny cupcake or cookie by myself and this is the place to get it. As for sweets, I’m a lover of chocolates, anything sweet and salty and I’m a sucker for macarons.
Petite Sweets is the perfect place for a coffee date and treat or quality time with your girls because the place is uber cute with equally cute mini desserts to keep the calorie intake at a minimum (hence the “Petite.”)
Come holiday season it’s one of my favorite things to give out to the hostess with the mostess: mini cupcakes in a variety of sinful flavors, beloved macarons and cakeballs.
Some of my recommendations (besides their rockin’ coffee & frozen custard!):
1) Their Bacon Jam Pancake Mini Cupcake -I actually had this made as a cake for my anniversary. My husband loved me for it.
2) Their Oatmeal Creme Cookie Sandwich- OMG, I can’t express how perfect this is. The perfect homemade vanilla creme hugged by two just-baked, crisp oatmeal cookies (you can feel less guilty because it’s got healthy oatmeal in it.) Usually one cookie sandwich hits the spot.
3) Their Macarons in all colors and flavors.
And I have yet to try their in-house technicolored marshmallows, and cakeballs. And if you’ve never been to Petite Sweets indulge in these beautiful images while you do!
