A week ago I hosted a Farah Nazar Jewelry trunk show at Macaron by Patisse (best macaron place ever, hands down. Yes, it’s better than Laduree in Paris). On a whim, Farah, who lives in the island of Roatan in Honduras and happens to be a college friend of mine, decided to bring her new, colorful designs to Houston and set up a cute pop up shop inside the River Oaks macaron shop. Farah Nazar Jewelry was born 12 years ago when Farah started designing statement earrings with pearls, colorful gemstones and Mayan details in every piece. She actually designed my first pair of bold earrings and the love affair with her accessories started. I’m so happy many of you came out to check out her pieces last week! A big thank you to Mia Wines by Freixent for sponsoring our bubbly, pink moscato! (I actually fell in love with Mia Wines a couple of weeks ago at their wine tasting and dinner.)
Me and jewelry designer Farah Nazar
Every piece Farah designs is special and unique.
Mia Wines sparkling pink moscato is the perfect pairing with the sweet, airy macarons from Macarons by Patisse.
Farah works a lot with turquoise and coral and Karla took home this gorgeous pair!

My favorite characteristic of Farah’s jewelry is how colorful they are. Y’all know I love bold, colorful accessories.
