This is definitely my favorite time of year and also the most stressful one! I jump from my multiple birthday celebrations to Christmas time all in one week.
This means a lot more family time, in-laws flying in and staying over at our house, struggling to stay under budget because I want the house to look beautiful and full of Christmas spirit (and unfortunately Target gets the best of me and I just want to buy every damn cute Christmas thing they come up with!), taking our yearly “family photo” & printing out beautiful holiday greeting cards, thinking what to give all my fabulous friends and what to gift my hubby that will not be crazy expensive and amazing. Wow. I stressed out just writing this.
Something that doesn’t stress me out though is getting beauty gifts & stocking stuffers for my mom, my sister and friends. You all know I love to visit the beauty counters at the department stores as well as Sephora and Ulta and it completely relaxes me to fluff my face with powder and blush, smell all the lotions and try all the perfumes till there are no spots left on my arm (yes, I’m that girl). Up, Up & Away Travel Set $25. My sister is in her college years and she constantly parties and stays over at her friends. She’s got long beautiful locks that need some love and this travel kit is going to be her saving grace.

This lemon-basil concoction is going to be her new favorite especially because it’s a great excuse to start a relaxing bubble bath.
For My Mother-In-Law
Kiehl’s Since 1851 Greatest Hits Collection (Limited Edition) $45. My mother in law always visits during the holidays. Since she travels from Spain she stays with us for a whole month and this cute gift from Kiehl’s, with all the bells and whistles would be perfect for her to use during her stay. She usually only wears Clinique products but this would be a great opportunity to introduce her to Kiehl’s greatest hits (I’m sure she’s going to love it!).

For The Hostess with the Mostess

Bobbie Brown’s Copper Diamond Shimmer Brick $45. I believe in treating myself to a little something this Christmas too! I’ve been coveting Bobbi Brown’s shimmer brick since I bought her amazing foundation stick and lip crayon. The reason I hadn’t bought it before is because I had a similar bronzer but now I’ve finished it all up. What’s most amazing about this bronzer is that the shimmer strips double as separate eye shadows so it will take up less space in your purse.
