Chic Wedding Guest Dress Under $50

It’s been wedding mode on since June for us! It’s been exciting, a bit draining to our bodies and wallet because none of our family members and friends decided to get married in Houston! It’s been an overwhelming wave of happiness because our favorite people are getting married this year and we get to be there to dance with them, cry with them and celebrate their union. We just got back yesterday from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania from my first cousin’s wedding and we’re leaving to another wedding soon!

Naturally, I’ve been on the hunt for the cutest dresses without breaking the bank for our hefty wedding season. This is one of my favorite wedding guest dresses under $50 that I wore a couple of weeks ago to Chris and Amy’s rehearsal dinner in Roche Harbor, Washington.

This gorgeous dress is by one of my favorite brands for curvy petite girls: CeCe by Cynthia Steffe Accesorize a floral print dress with a neutral toned clutch and heels in a pastel shade.

This A-Line dress flatters a pear-shaped body like mine. It does not cling on the hips and is short enough to make your legs look longer with some fun heels.

This dress is perfect to wear for a summer wedding as a guest and it's under $50! I found this dress at Dillard's which is a hot spot for me for finding dresses for special ocassions and my pear-shaped body type.

My gorgeous earrings are from Roatan-based jewelry designer, Farah Nazar Jewery.

Cute accesorties are always the finishing touch for my outfits. Love my cotton candy heels and clutch!

These heels have become a staple for all my summer weddings.

This dress is one of my favorite finds under $50! Makes my wedding season budget-friendly.

By the way, how happy am I that I got to shoot with the talented Lauren Beatty!? I’m super happy because I hadn’t been able to shoot outfits with a photographer and my fashion posts had been on pause. I’m happy to be back because I love to share my fashion finds for curvy girls.

Why does this dress work for curvy , petite bodies?

Well, for one, it doesn’t cling on the hips. It falls right at the knee and paired with heels, it makes you look taller. Also, for pear-shaped bodies, the smallest part of the body is at the top which is nicely accentuated with the halter cut of the dress. One of my favorite brands for curvy-petite girls like me is CeCe and they always have a sale going on at Dillard’s. So, in search for my wedding guest dresses I stumbled upon this gorgeous floral print dress and couldn’t believe the price tag! I paired with my signature cotton candy heels and clutch. You can wear this dress with a pashmina, cape or even a leather jacket like I did if it’s gets chilly at the wedding/rehearsal dinner location.

What do you think about this look? Can you believe this cute wedding guest dress is under $50?!
