Thalia at Macy’s Memorial City Mall

It’s not everyday you get an email saying fashion, music and telenovela icon Thalia will be offering an interview to a group of Houston bloggers including me!  So when I read this and realized I wasn’t going to be here because of my scheduled trip to Europe I knew Lipstick and Brunch still had to be there so I sent my brother and permanent intern Daniel to cover the event (while I obsessively checked on him though Snapchat and Whatsapp that whole day).

Saturday, September 19th fans of the legendary icon got to assist a meet and greet at Macy’s Memorial City Mall for the launch of her new Thalia Sodi Collection available at more than 300 Macy’s stores nationwide which according to the pieces I saw are glitzy jewelry, sexy tailored jackets and pants, figure hugging dresses and flashy shoes–just like Latinas like it!

Thalia was super warm and sweet to all her fans! Everyone who has been a die-hard fan of Timbiriche and Mexican telenovelas has grown up with this household name so much that we feel like we know her. Her charming personality lived up to our greatest expectations on that day!

We’ve all grown up with her various roles and phases in life as an iconic artist and musician, soap opera star, wife, mother and now designer. Her approachable smile and charismatic demeanor shone right though her at the meet and greet with each and every fan.

Thalia even autographed some flyers for us backstage during her interviews.

These pieces are on my Thalia Sodi Collection Wishlist:
