Hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving! We were not going to celebrate with the hubby and just decorate for Christmas around the house but we decided to drive to my parents last minute and we are so happy we did! My mom made her signature bacon-wrapped turkey and my brother baked the most amazing chocolate chip macadamia cookies to eat with ice-cream. Today, we’re having a major Thanksgiving hangover because we ate too much and all we want to do is sit on the couch and binge watch Scandal on Netflix. But, today is my grandma’s birthday so the eating continues–yikes! Black Friday is also here in case you’re hanging out on your couch still recovering from yesterday–in which case–I’m very jealous.
My New Year’s Make-Up Bag travels with me to my party destination which is most of the the time to a relative’s house. These products are ones I’ve been using recently and that have weathered my night-long photography jobs, busy nights at Fashion Houston 2014, birthday parties and dancing.
I really wanted to share the make-up I used on the day that Sarah Jessica Parker made her personal appearance at Nordstrom because it lasted all through my hectic, adrenaline-filled day. That day I ran around through the Galleria Mall, held my camera up close to my face to take photos and waited 3 hours to see her (bearing it all in my heels) and my make-up was flawless by the end of the day without ever having retouched.
