Photo Diary: Why I’m Missing the Kia Sorento & exciting News About Lipstick & Brunch and The Houston Auto Show

During the holidays in late December I drove a shiny white Kia Sorento for two weeks and I’m missing it very much at this moment.  Oh man, It’s the first time I can say I’m really missing a loaner car.  Let me tell you why.

  1. The Heated Steering Wheel – Yes, I could get used to a heated steering wheel especially when the bipolar Houston weather goes from 70 to 30 with no warning..
  2. Smart Driving- This actually creeped me out but this car decelerates by itself on cruise control when it feels you are getting too close to another car.

3. The Sun Roof- Houston’s track record of gorgeous blue skies in December & January gave the car a beautiful, bright light while driving.

4.The 360 Degree Camera– I’m sorry but I’m not the best driver so let’s say my husband and fellow passengers appreciate this a lot. Parallel parking is now my best friend.

5. All The Space. Enough said; if it fits all my family’s Christmas presents it can fit anything!

6. It was the perfect ride for  Hispanicize’s first Houston meet-up! Such a smooth ride from Sugar Land to east downtown Houston where the meet-up took place. Here with with my suburb car-pool buddy & fellow blogger Patty.
