Bright Fall Florals

Fall is basically what the weather always felt like in Honduras all-the-time. That is the one thing I truly miss from living in Tegucigalpa because it was always a bit cool, there’s a nice breeze always hitting your face and the weather is mild around 65-70 degrees Fahrenheit and it makes for endless possibilities in the fashion arena. I can also assure you that we didn’t have anything called “Fall Florals” we just used whatever we wanted year-round! I didn’t even have A/C in my car when I lived back home, that’s how mild the temperatures were.

But, when Fall gets to Houston it feels like the best thing ever after we’ve been living in a 90 degree sauna for months! Ha! I’ve actually been so reluctant to shoot any scarf or sweater outfits because that is not what we’re experiencing at the moment. My dress below is unfortunately sold-out (I linked a very similar one and a gorgeous maxi option) but I can envision pairing it with tights, boots and a long cardigan once chillier weather shows up. For now, it’s serving its purpose as a transitional dress with a signature bright pop of pink, paired with my current favorite open-toe booties that I’ll be rocking all season because they are the comfy and chic (I linked them below!).

I also wore this dress for my first TV segment as a beauty blogger and it looked AMAZING on-camera!
